BaptismBaptism of infants and children under the age of seven is celebrated once a month at our church at our regularly scheduled weekend Masses and also on the first Saturday of most months.

To prepare for your child’s Baptism, there are four main steps (Note: Baptismal dates are not finalized until all four steps are completed):

1) Review our Baptismal Pamphlet, Complete the Baptism Registration Form, Obtain a Copy of Your Child’s Birth Certificate and drop them off at the Parish Office or send them to Lerma at (The Baptism Registration Form and a copy of your child’s Birth Certificate are needed prior to your Baptismal Prep session and your meeting with one of our priests.)

2) Attend a Baptismal Prep Session or Provide Documentation that you have attended Baptismal Prep within the last two years (If the Baptism is planned at another parish, we ask for a donation of $30 for an individual or $40 for two people)

3) Schedule a meeting with Fr. Saju or Fr. Generoso.

4) Provide Customary Offering. Paying the customary offering will hold the date of Baptism for your family; until the offering is paid the Baptism date is tentative only.

For future reference on the preparation process, please download and review our Baptismal Pamphlet.

If you have any further questions, please contact Lerma, our Director of Faith Formation, at or (408) 294-8953 ext. 321.

Baptism of Adults, and Children over the age of 7, is coordinated through the R.C.I.A. Unbaptised adults and children who complete this process will celebrate the three sacraments of initiation at the Easter Vigil:  Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. We warmly welcome all those inquiring about becoming baptized.
